This quest has undeniably been on everyone's mind in the 21st Century and yet there are so many people who read book after book and find no fulfillment. We watch self help shows and listen to all sorts of self help gurus tell us that we can find the answers by searching within ourselves. Still, life seems to leave an empty space deep within that keeps gnawing at us. The apostle Paul said, "Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us." The peace that people search for can't be achieved by us. It's the peace that comes freely with the gift of grace that God has already given us if we accept it.

These are questions we all ask ourselves. God created you for a very specific purpose. He had a plan for your life before you were even born. It is up to us to live according to His plan and use the gifts He gave us to His glory. He promises that He will be walking with us and never leave our side. We were all given gifts to use in our journey, whether it be the gift of helping, loving, listening, praying, organizing, baking, teaching, sharing, building, singing, caring, being a good friend and many more. They are all needed to make His church a vibrant and important part of our community. They are gifts that our family and friends need us to share with them.

You may be feeling like life is just happening to you instead of you being an active participant but that isn't what He wants for you. TAKE BACK YOUR LIFE. Make your choices and use the gifts you were given and the purpose to your life will become very clear.
